Kerryn Diprose
Psychologist
I like to focus initially on developing a good rapport and making my clients feel comfortable. I believe this is an integral part of the process and helps to lay the path toward assisting you to achieve improved mental health and wellbeing. Furthermore, from this foundation, I aim to work with you to reach your own goals.
Assessment for all mental health difficulties involves history-taking and questionnaires. These processes enable me to understand the symptoms that you are experiencing and develop a treatment plan that is appropriate for your individual goals.
Evidence based therapies, such as Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), are used to provide a framework for your therapy.
Qualifications/Experience
Doctor of Psychology degree (DPsych)
Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology)(Hons)

Following my DPsych, I travelled to Michigan, USA, on a scholarship to study research and clinical study programs.
On returning from USA, and for the following 5 years, I worked with children, adolescents and families in community settings. These included early intervention centres and Mental Health Services at Maroondah Hospital, the Austin Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
